Wedding Transportation When Planning a Destination Marriage Ceremony

When trying to organize a wedding in Orlando, it is important to think about how the you and the guests will get back and forth from the wedding ceremony, to the reception, if the reception is in a different location than the wedding ceremony, and back to the hotel. Orlando has a variety of choices available for transportation. Hiring a Orlando limousine service service is one way to go. Another choice would be to take a Orlando shuttle service, since most of the time hotels have such services available at no extra cost. The final choice you have is to rent a car. Every choice has its’ advantages and disadvantages, however, and it is up to the couple to decide which is best for them.

Hiring a limo would work for those who are celebrating a wedding in a destination city. A limo is great for those who prefer to travel in style to their wedding ceremony and reception. Limo’s can be more costly, depending on the company, however. A plus of a limo is that it is probably the nicest option for a wedding celebration. Also, the limo driver should know the way to just about every part of the city, so you shouldn’t get lost going to your ceremony, reception, or hotel. However, a drawback is that this is probably the most expensive mode of transportation.

A different selection for how to get the guests and yourselves from here to there, would be to hire a shuttle service. Again, these shuttles can be more costly, but since there will probably be a big group of people needing transportation to and from the wedding ceremony and reception, this may be the best selection. Also, there will be more space in a shuttle than in just a limo. A shuttle is nice because it will offer more space and it probably isn’t as expensive as limousine, if it is a private company. Some hotels do not charge for the shuttle service, especially for weddings.

The third selection may be to rent a car, for your wedding day. If you want to drive off in a beautiful car, like a Mercedes convertible for example, this would be the best option. It may also be not as costly as hiring a limo or a shuttle. With a car, you would have the ability to go to the reception or leave the reception whenever you chose instead of relying on a driver of a limo or shuttle. A concern with renting a car is that if you are not familiar with the area it may be more challenging, especially if you get lost, either going to your wedding ceremony or your reception.

All of the choices above have their advantages and disadvantages. When planning a wedding in a destination city it is important to remember how you will be going to and from your ceremony, reception, and hotel. It is up to the bride and groom to decide what mode of transportation is best for them and their wedding guests.
